1. Dig out 4in of existing grass

2. Put down the base and water it.  Watering make it easier to compact.  Let the water sit for 10min before running the plate compactor (rent)

3. Use carpet kicker to stretch the tuff.  Use carpet tucket to tuck the edges.  Nail tuff down along the process to minimize wrinkles

4. Glue down where needed along the seam and the edges

5. Apply Infill sand and use the firm push broom to brush the infill in and raise the grass.  Push the broom against the grains

Tools needed beside artificial grass: seam tape, glue, infill, grass killer chemical, 

1. Plate compactor, base dirt and gravel, crushed rocks

2. 6in stainless steel nail, hammer,  Nail every 6in at the edge

3.  Cutting blade.  Tip: cut better from the UNDERSIDE, and cut between the grass seam

4. Carpet kicker, carpet tuck

5. Walk Behind Spreader to spread the Smart Infill

6. Push broom or best to rent a power sweeper/broom to drive the infill in properly.  Walk backward with the power broom

7. Use chalk fine to mark straight cut

Measure each yard.  To buy:

• Grass killer chemical & spray the dirt

• Tuff grass 15ft width

• 5-6in tuff nail SS,

• Cutting tool for tuff grass (to cut from the top of grass instead of bottom liner)

• Walk behind spreader (for infill, ice salt)

• Power broom (to brush in infill and raise the grass)

• Infill (Smart, environmental, green)
