Download 3 APPS: 

1. Theta (camera), discontinued as of Dec 20, 2024.  Use Ricoh360 app as replacement

2. Ricoh360 (to hold images/gallery), 

3. RicohTOURS (to create & host tours).  

To link Theta camera to Smart phone, WIFI must first be connected.  First register Camera (Theta SC2)  in phone via WIFI.  Then register Camera (Theta) to Bluetooth so you can CAPTURE pictures on the phone when at properties without WIFI.  When connect via Bluetooth, the only function available is: CAPTURE. Cannot view pictures nor Edit, nor create Tours.  Must connect to WIFI later to upload pictures from Theta to App (Ricoh360) and Cloud to create tours. 

Please note that connection between Theta & smart phone seems not 100% reliable, so it's very frustrating.  The most reliable way to capture pictures is: simply PRESS the ROUND button on FRONT OF camera to capture, make sure you use the Timer Function (4th bottom button on the side) so you have 5 sections to …disappear from capture view. Theta makes a bird-like sound when it captures (make sure you hear the twiwt sound).  The pictures will be saved in the Theta Camera, you'll move them to Device (phone) or Cloud when connecting with wifi later.

When you have access to WIFI, open app RICOH360,  connect Theta camera to your phone, connect with WIFI, then transfer images from Theta camera to Device(phone).  Once images are in Device, touch the image (1 at a time) to DOWNLOAD to phone library (touch download icon), and touch the image to UPLOAD to cloud (touch the Cloud icon).  Once images are in the Cloud, then login RicohTours on your PC to Create Tours.  

The FASTEST way to CREATE TOUR is from your phone.  Open the APP Tours, +New Tour, then Add Photo from Theta, or phone Library.  Note that Tour from phone has limited functions, so you MUST  Edit Tour later on PC to sort and customize paths.

To upload 3D pictures from Theta Camera to Smart Phone, open RICOH360 app

• Press WIFI button on Theta camera to turn on WIFI

• Select the Registred Theta, YP00170929 and connect it to phone

• Select Tab THETA (you should see latest pictures), touch the picture (one at a time) to upload it to Device (phone, after uploated, a checkmark will appear on the picture)

To upload 3D pictures from Device (smart phone) to Cloud, open RICOH360 app

• Select Tab DEVICE

• Touch the picture (one at a time), then touch the icon (upload to cloud) on TOP Right, 

• Touch Back Arrow, a cloud check mark will be stamped on the pictures that were uploaded to cloud.  To view pictures on CLOUD, go to: https://app2.ricoh360.com/gallery

To create tour on PC (after uploading images to Cloud from phone), login (if WIFI not connected, it’ll result in limited functions)

• Fastest is to click Create Tour on phone with TOURS APP, add pictures directly/on the spot with Theta cam.  Otherwise, you’ll need to upload pictures to the CLOUD first, then login https://app.ricoh360.com/tours to create tours. 

• However, Tours created on phone is very BASICS  (limited to Add Photo only).  After adding 3D images, you need to SORT (drag & drop) pic in orders to create (room) FLOW/PATH. https://app.ricoh360.com/tours

• To fully EDIT TOUR, must use PC, go to: https://app.ricoh360.com/tours (in Path mode) CLICK a picture in Photo Tray (bottom row) to bring it to Upper LEFT photo tray.  (in Starting View mode), DRAG the photo to set your Starting View, then SAVE. (in Path mode), drag other pictures to your main pictures to create HOT spots path.  A  BACK link/path will be created automatically 2-ways when you add a hot spot, however this default back arrow link is typically NOT the right spot, either move it to the correct diretion or delete it.  To delete a Hot spot, drag it to the X at bottom of pic. 

• To Add Comment to Highlight things, (in Annotation mode, still in Tour Edit), name the Annotation & add Zoom in pic if needed.

• To SHARE, create link (turn OFF Thumb nail to avoid clutters for small home) to email, text, add to Zillow, add to web pages.  EMBED Code is to insert Html code to website (admin access to website required)

To access Cloud images, go to: https://app2.ricoh360.com/gallery

The FRONT of camera (Visual Point) is where the Theta logo is.  If you forget to face camera correctly at shooting time, you can adjust Starting View later in Tour Edit mode.
